Tax Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Tax Accountant to manage and file tax schedules, summaries and reports in compliance with Philippine regulations. The role involves close coordination with external accountants and support for tax planning and compliance strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit VAT, withholding, sales and purchase tax schedules, summaries and reports accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with external accountants for tax‑related data requests and requirements.
• Reconcile accounting and tax records to ensure accuracy and avoid penalties.
• Support management and external accountants in tax planning and compliance initiatives.
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely submission of all required filings.
• Maintain organized, audit‑ready tax files and supporting documentation.
• Assist in improving internal processes for faster and more accurate tax reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in tax, accounting or compliance.
• Solid understanding of Philippine tax laws and BIR regulations.
• Hands‑on experience preparing and filing VAT, withholding and income tax returns.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Team player with good communication skills.
