Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

As a Supply Chain Specialist for Anko in the Philippines, you will be the primary point of contact for managing end‑to‑end logistics, ensuring that goods move efficiently from international suppliers to local warehouses and stores.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with international freight forwarders and shipping lines for documentation and shipment orders.
• Track shipments from Philippine ports to local warehouses, monitoring the entire supply chain cycle up to the last mile.
• Control demurrage by ensuring containers are returned within free‑time periods.
• Monitor store replenishment orders, outbound tracking, and reverse logistics.
• Manage 3PL performance, service quality, and key performance indicators.
• Handle damaged goods reports, claims, and follow‑up actions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the system for both the company and its 3PL partners.
• Coordinate disposal processes with 3PL providers when required.
• Validate shipping documents, optimize landed costs through trade agreements, and ensure billing accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in a retail environment.
• Strong understanding of freight coordination, shipment tracking, and demurrage management.
• Ability to work with 3PL partners and manage inventory accuracy.
• Experience handling damaged goods, claims, and disposal coordination.
• Knowledge of cost control techniques, including landed cost optimization and trade agreements.
