About the role

AutoZone is seeking a motivated Supervisor to lead the daily operations of one of its retail stores. You will act as a role model for the team, ensuring a safe, efficient, and customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all store areas, ensuring processes are followed and the work environment is optimal.
• Provide direction, feedback, and coaching to team members to maintain high service standards.
• Authorize returns of damaged or non‑damaged merchandise, prioritising customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate inventory placement and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Guide employees in using the electronic catalog and diagnostic equipment to advise customers effectively.
• Monitor attendance, dress code compliance, and professional conduct of staff.
• Review P&L reports regularly to identify cost‑control opportunities.
• Assign and track tasks such as planogram setup, merchandise arrangement, cleaning, and cash handling procedures.
• Ensure all employees wear required safety gear (belts, gloves, aprons, lenses) during merchandise handling and testing.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of supervisory experience in a store, warehouse or retail environment.
• Strong ability to lead by example and communicate clearly with both staff and customers.
• Attention to detail in inventory management and financial reporting.
• Commitment to safety standards and a customer‑first mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an electronic catalog system.
• Experience using diagnostic and testing equipment for automotive parts.
• Familiarity with inventory management tools.
• Understanding of basic P&L reporting.
• Use of personal protective equipment (belts, gloves, aprons, safety lenses).
