Special Education Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated educator to work with a small group of 2‑3 students who have special needs. The position offers a supportive environment where you can make a meaningful impact on each child's academic and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction in core academic subjects for 2‑3 special‑needs students.
• Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student.
• Track and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with parents and support staff to ensure consistent support.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment during the scheduled hours.

Required profile

• Licensed Special Education (SPED) teacher.
• Kind, passionate about teaching, and a genuine love for working with children with special needs.
• Values aligned with a caring, student‑centered approach.
• Experience preferred but not mandatory; fresh graduates are welcome.

Required skills

• Experience with writing IEPs.
• Ability to track and monitor student progress.
