Software Engineer – Remote (Philippines)

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join its remote team in the Philippines. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and systems.
• Translate business and technical requirements into high‑quality code.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and operations teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications for performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one language such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript or Go.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and software development principles.
• Experience with version‑control systems (e.g., Git) and standard development workflows.
