Senior Engineer, Water Utilities

About the role

Join Aurecon’s Water Utilities team in Manila as a Senior Engineer, delivering high‑quality civil engineering solutions for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure. You will lead design packages, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders on complex projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead civil design for municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities, including network layout and pumping system design.
• Apply hydraulic engineering principles to open‑channel and closed‑conduit systems.
• Manage medium‑size design packages, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all engineering deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance, quality assurance, and mentorship to junior engineers, designers, and drafters.
• Utilise digital design tools such as Plant 3D, Civil 3D, 12D, AutoCAD and Revit for design execution and management.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align project objectives and client expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven track record as a civil design lead on municipal water and wastewater projects.
• Experience in design management of medium‑size projects or facilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
