Remote SEO Specialist (Independent Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to join our international, fully‑remote team. You will lead and execute strategies that boost organic traffic, improve keyword rankings, and enhance overall online visibility for a variety of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve rankings.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and identify content gaps.
• Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts following SEO best practices.
• Perform technical SEO audits covering site speed, indexing, crawlability, and more.
• Monitor performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar tools.
• Design and execute link‑building campaigns.
• Collaborate with content writers and developers to implement SEO improvements.
• Stay up‑to‑date with algorithm changes, industry trends, and best practices.

Required profile

• 3‑4+ years of proven experience in SEO or digital marketing.
• Strong track record of improving rankings and organic traffic.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in remote or international teams is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
