Remote Java Software Engineer – Message Forwarding API

About the role

TransInnovate is looking for a Remote Java Software Engineer to join its backend team. You will work on the message forwarding engine that connects the alpha‑TMS platform with carrier systems across Europe, helping to make logistics smarter.

Key responsibilities

• Build and test new integrations with carrier systems.
• Develop new features for the Spring Boot backend.
• Improve and harden existing functionality.
• Work on the core of the message forwarding engine.
• Ship code confidently through the CI/CD pipeline.

Required profile

• Solid experience with Java.
• Working knowledge of Spring (Spring Boot a plus).
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Experience with integration protocols (REST, SOAP, SFTP) and data formats (XML, JSON).
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Proficiency with Git.
