Remote Accountant – Metro Manila

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join MicroSourcing’s finance team on a remote basis from Metro Manila. The role supports the full accounting cycle, manages accounts payable, and ensures accurate month‑end reporting while collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Process credit‑card and out‑of‑pocket expenses, following up for approvals and completion.
• Review accounting and tax treatment of transactions and reconcile them.
• Enter supplier bills into Lightyear and NetSuite, code bills, and manage approval workflows.
• Respond to supplier queries, create manual invoices or credit memos when necessary.
• Upload and reconcile credit‑card transactions and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare month‑end calendar, roll over reconciliation files, calculate and post provisions, journals, and accruals.
• Conduct balance‑sheet reconciliations, leasing and hybrid customer invoicing, intercompany invoicing, and revenue reconciliation.
• Support fortnightly payroll processing and issue credit memos.
• Supervise the finance assistant and provide support to the finance team and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Tertiary education in Accounting.
• Experience with NetSuite (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
