Quality Engineer – New Product Introduction

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead quality activities during New Product Introduction (NPI). The role ensures that new products are launched with robust quality controls, validated processes, and compliant documentation, working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality activities throughout the NPI lifecycle.
• Conduct product and process qualification, including First Article Inspection (FAI) and sample builds.
• Review and approve Control Plans, PFMEA, SOPs, BOMs, and other quality requirements.
• Support line readiness, pilot builds, and early mass‑production quality monitoring.
• Identify critical process parameters and implement monitoring and controls.
• Drive root‑cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5‑Why methods.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer quality expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in quality assurance, NPI, manufacturing, or process engineering.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, CA/PA, PPAP, and APQP.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
