QA/QC Inspector – Civil Works (Hydropower Projects)

About the role

We are looking for a QA/QC Inspector to lead quality assurance and control activities on civil works, including dam and hydropower projects, for Surbana Jurong in Pasig City.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, testing and manage non‑conformance reports (NCRs) for civil structures such as concrete dams, embankments, spillways, tunnels and powerhouses.
• Prepare, maintain and review QA/QC documentation, including ITPs and method statements.
• Produce technical reports and ensure compliance with international dam safety standards (ICOLD, USBR) and FIDIC‑based contracts.
• Coordinate with international consultants and project control teams, using digital inspection tools and Primavera.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s in Geotechnical, Structural or Water Resources Engineering.
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC or equivalent) and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Training or certification in QA/QC for construction, concrete technology or materials testing, and construction safety (OSHA or equivalent).
• 8‑10 years of civil works construction experience, with at least 5 years on dam or hydropower projects.
• Hands‑on experience with concrete dams (gravity/RCC), embankment dams, spillways, tunnels or powerhouse structures.
• Strong knowledge of dam engineering, soil mechanics, structural works and international dam safety standards.
• Experience with EPC hydropower projects and familiarity with FIDIC contracts preferred.
