Purchasing Agent – Electrical Materials (Remote, Night Shift)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Purchasing Agent who specializes in electrical materials. The role is fully remote and operates on a night‑shift schedule (EST), supporting timely procurement for various projects.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase and source electrical materials based on project and inventory requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing, lead times, and product availability.
• Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain organized purchasing records and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams regarding material requirements and updates.
• Compare pricing and negotiate with vendors when appropriate.

Required profile

• Knowledge and experience with electrical materials.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply‑chain operations preferred.
• Good negotiation and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
