Purchasing Agent – Electrical Materials

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Purchasing Agent who specializes in electrical materials. The role is fully remote and supports our night‑shift operations aligned with EST hours. You will be responsible for sourcing, ordering, and tracking electrical supplies to keep projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase and source electrical materials based on project and inventory requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain pricing, lead times, and product availability.
• Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain organized purchasing records and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams regarding material needs and updates.
• Compare pricing and negotiate with vendors when appropriate.

Required profile

• Knowledge and experience with electrical materials.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply‑chain operations preferred.
• Good negotiation and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with purchasing systems is a plus.
