Proposal & Business Development Specialist

About the role

pubGENIUS, a React.js and Next.js development company and AdTech startup, is seeking a Proposal & Business Development Specialist to join its sales team. The role is fully remote, part‑time and focuses on acquiring new clients through data‑driven proposal writing and outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate project opportunities on platforms such as Upwork and other lead sources.
• Review client requirements and craft tailored, high‑quality proposals that align with their needs and the company’s brand voice.
• Write, refine, and optimize proposal content for clarity, positioning, and consistency.
• Manage outreach and maintain timely, professional communication with potential clients.
• Track proposal performance metrics (timing, response rates) and ensure a consistent daily output.
• Analyze proposal data to identify patterns and improve conversion strategies.
• Collaborate with developers to accurately represent technical capabilities in proposals.
• Provide regular reports and insights to management on pipeline activity and outcomes.

Required profile

• Background in proposal writing, sales, marketing, or business development.
• Strong English writing skills (minimum B2‑C1 level).
• Experience with client acquisition, outreach, and lead drafting.
• Analytical mindset with experience in data collection, analysis, and strategy.
• Independent, proactive, and comfortable working with cross‑functional, international teams.
• Genuine interest in technology and digital products.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel.
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar data‑visualisation tools.
