Project Senior Design Manager

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Project Senior Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary design teams on complex building projects. Based in Manila, you will be the primary point of contact for clients and responsible for delivering designs from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of project delivery from initial design to final review.
• Lead and coordinate a large, multi‑disciplinary team of engineers, designers and drafters across mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, security, architectural and ICT disciplines.
• Produce comprehensive design documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, calculations, BIM models and design reports.
• Chair internal and external design meetings and manage client communications on day‑to‑day matters.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, quality assurance and client feedback, ensuring effective communication of changes.
• Assist in workload management, resource forecasting and preparation of proposal documentation.
• Identify and develop business opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, multidisciplinary design teams on building or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction and engineering project management principles.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and client‑relationship skills.
