Project Manager – Sustainable Design & Engineering

About the role

Arcadis is seeking a Project Manager to lead and deliver sustainable design, engineering and consultancy projects. You will be responsible for ensuring projects meet defined objectives while adhering to budget, compliance, regulatory and planning controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage small to medium‑scale projects or programs, coordinating resources to meet scope, deadlines and quality standards.
• Track schedules and budgets, highlight variances and take corrective actions to keep projects on target.
• Identify and present project risks or issues to senior managers, ensuring timely mitigation.
• Analyse project data, identify trends and produce recommendations to support decision‑making.
• Review and advise on project processes, policies and systems to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third‑party contractors, keeping all parties informed of progress and expectations.

Required profile

• Significant technical knowledge and experience in project management within engineering or construction environments.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Experience monitoring KPIs and escalating performance issues when needed.
