Production Technician – Test PMEE

About the role

Allegro is seeking a hands‑on Production Technician to support its Test PMEE line. You will ensure equipment runs efficiently, provide technical support to the shift, and collaborate with engineers to drive continuous improvement in a fast‑paced semiconductor environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily and weekly maintenance activities on production equipment.
• Apply 5S principles and maintain disciplined, accountable work practices.
• Provide technical support to the production line and ensure shift coverage.
• Communicate equipment issues promptly to engineers and supply necessary technical data.
• Log all repair activities in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Maintain tools and instruments in good condition.
• Conduct periodic line analyses, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to reduce downtime and meet department goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a maintenance or technical support role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Disciplined approach to following SOPs and detailed logging.
• Ability to analyze technical data and assist in root‑cause investigations.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with engineers and peers.
• Proactive work ethic with a commitment to accountability and 5S.
• Experience maintaining tools and instruments.
• Team‑player mindset focused on shared goals and downtime reduction.
