Production Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

New World Rubber Corporation is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations across its tire production facilities in Carmona, Cavite. The role focuses on driving operational discipline, efficiency, quality coordination and continuous improvement as the company prepares for ISO 9001:2015 certification.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations across Factory 1, 2 and 3.
• Execute approved production schedules in coordination with PPIC.
• Monitor output, manpower utilization, downtime, scrap, rework and overall operational efficiency.
• Lead Production Supervisors, Team Leaders, Operators and Helpers.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, production standards, safety policies and quality procedures.
• Coordinate closely with QA/QC, Maintenance, Warehouse, HR and Operations teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives such as 6S, process standardisation and operational efficiency projects.
• Strengthen production systems, reporting discipline and manufacturing consistency.
• Oversee production sections including Mixing, Calendering/Extrusion, Bead Wire, Tire Building, Curing, Finishing/Trimming and Packing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Technology or a related field.
• 7–10 years of manufacturing experience.
• 3–5 years in a Production Manager, Assistant Production Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong background in production operations, manpower management and process control.
• Proven leadership, problem‑solving, coordination and reporting abilities.
• Willingness to work hands‑on on the factory floor.

Required skills

• Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, specifically Odoo.
• Knowledge of 5S and 6S workplace organisation.
• Exposure to Kaizen continuous‑improvement methodologies.
