About the role
The Procurement & Admin Specialist will manage the full sourcing process for goods, works, and services across assigned categories, ensuring compliance with World Vision’s procurement policies. Working closely with field teams, vendors, and partners, the role supports timely delivery of resources and contributes to cost‑saving initiatives. This is a fixed‑term, two‑year position based in Tacloban City.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement cost‑effective sourcing plans based on procurement forecasts and market intelligence.
- Conduct market research, assess supplier options, and negotiate terms to achieve best value.
- Coordinate with Operations to align sourcing strategies with program needs and budget proposals.
- Manage procurement planning, review purchase requisitions, and ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
- Perform administrative duties including office supply management, financial coordination, and customer service support.
- Participate in emergency response teams when required, following appropriate training and coverage plans.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of program needs and ability to collaborate with field partners.
- Willingness to be deployed in emergency situations as part of a response team.
- Ability to work closely with operations, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
