PMO Lead – Governance for High-Stakes Client Projects

About the role

As a PMO Lead you will shape governance standards and drive the rhythm of large consulting engagements, ensuring clarity and control across complex client projects. This senior position is ideal for professionals with extensive PMO experience in consultancy or professional services environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce PMO governance frameworks, reporting structures and quality reviews.
• Oversee resource planning, delivery tracking and operational support for multi‑workstream projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of PMO professionals, project coordinators and support staff.
• Collaborate with leadership, HR, finance and client‑facing groups to ensure seamless stakeholder communication.
• Maintain Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) and drive continuous improvement in project delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in PMO operations, project delivery or governance.
• Proven track record leading PMO teams in consultancy, professional services or shared‑services settings.
• Strong exposure to medium‑to‑large, complex client engagements.
• Excellent organizational and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Leadership, coaching and problem‑solving skills.
