Part-Time Home-Based English Tutor (Remote)

About the role

Acadsoc Ltd. is seeking part‑time, home‑based English tutors to deliver online lessons to learners of all ages. This remote position allows you to work from your own quiet space while helping students improve their English proficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English to students ranging from young learners to adults via live online sessions.
• Design and adapt lesson plans to meet individual learner needs and goals.
• Deliver engaging, interactive lessons that encourage active participation.
• Provide feedback and guidance to help learners improve speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
• Monitor and track student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.

Required profile

• Strong background in English teaching or education.
• Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage learners across different age groups and proficiency levels.
• Reliable internet connection, computer with webcam and a quiet teaching environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English or related field (preferred).
• TESOL, TEFL or similar certification (a plus).
• Previous online teaching experience (advantageous).
