Paralegal - Family Law (Remote, Part-Time)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Paralegal to support a modern law firm that specializes in estate planning and family law. The role is remote, freelance and ideal for a detail‑oriented individual who can manage case progress, draft documents and communicate with clients in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, legal correspondence and other court documents.
• Prepare and file estate planning and family law paperwork using e‑filing systems.
• Organize discovery materials, maintain digital case files and track deadlines.
• Communicate case updates, schedule appointments and assist with client intake.
• Conduct legal research, summarize findings and support trial preparation.
• Use case‑management software (e.g., MyCase, Clio) to monitor active matters.

Required profile

• Prior experience as a legal assistant, paralegal or similar support role.
• Strong legal writing and document drafting abilities.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, meet multiple deadlines and take ownership of tasks.
• Law students, recent graduates or candidates with relevant legal experience are preferred.
