About the role

We are looking for an Outbound Telesales Representative to drive new business growth for a leading Australian telecommunications challenger. You will focus on prospecting mid‑market and enterprise customers, generating qualified appointments and feeding the sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities

  • Research target accounts, identify decision‑makers and prioritize outreach based on fit and intent signals.
  • Execute high‑volume, multi‑channel outreach (cold calls, email cadences, LinkedIn) to engage prospects.
  • Personalise messaging to address industry challenges and present client solutions.
  • Convert conversations into qualified appointments using BANT criteria.
  • Reactivate dormant leads through structured win‑back campaigns.
  • Maintain full ownership of outbound leads in CRM tools (Salesforce, Salesloft), logging activities and insights.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers to ensure smooth hand‑overs and feedback loops.
  • Track weekly and monthly KPIs, analyse performance and provide reports on pipeline contribution and conversion rates.

Required profile

  • 2–5+ years of experience in outbound telesales, business development, account development or B2B SaaS sales.
  • Proven ability to book meetings at scale and convert prospects into qualified opportunities.
  • Strong analytical mindset to monitor KPIs and optimise outreach campaigns.
