NPI Engineer – New Product Introduction

About the role

The NPI Engineer will support New Product Introduction activities for the R&D department, ensuring smooth transfer of product and process changes from Business Groups in Manchester and Hamburg to the ATCB Cabuyao plant. The role bridges engineering, quality, and operations to deliver reliable, cost‑effective products.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure projects follow BCAMX, QCM and ATCB Change Control Board processes.
• Manage Simple to Standard Track NPI projects and act as liaison between Business Groups, Change Review Board, QA, Management and Operations.
• Deliver key gate documents such as RACI, DFM, Release Checklist, CNP, MRAT, Qualification Report and Safe Launch.
• Deploy product and process changes to production lines and track Safe Launch performance.
• Plan resources and logistics, support characterization, and collaborate on yield improvement, cost reduction and process optimisation.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering peers and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics or related manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of project‑management fundamentals.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaboratively and under pressure.
• Willingness to travel if required.
