About the role
The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for executing preventive and major corrective maintenance activities on main engines and plant equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety in line with company standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Take vibration readings of major plant equipment using a Microlog Analyzer and transmit data for analysis.
- Troubleshoot defective machinery, identify causes of malfunctions, and implement repairs or recommend replacements.
- Conduct periodic physical inspections to detect leaks and abnormalities and report findings for corrective action.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a mechanic in a power plant or allied industry.
- Graduate of a technology/vocational course; preferably a Mechanical Engineer.
- Knowledge of power plant maintenance practices, tools and equipment management, and plant diagnostics.
Required skills
- Microlog Analyzer for vibration analysis.
