Mecánico de Producción – Front End (Turnos)

About the role

The Production Mechanic – Front End works on rotating shifts to ensure that the initial section of the production line operates smoothly, efficiently, and without interruptions. The role focuses on preventive, corrective, and continuous‑improvement maintenance to keep equipment running at optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on front‑end machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical faults.
• Rapidly intervene during incidents to minimise line downtime.
• Replace and adjust components such as bearings, motors, transmissions, sensors and control systems.
• Adjust, calibrate and fine‑tune equipment to guarantee product quality.
• Collaborate closely with production teams to maintain operational continuity.
• Identify recurring failures and propose technical improvements.
• Record all maintenance actions in the CMMS/GMAO system.
• Strictly follow safety procedures, including lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO).
• Assist in the installation and start‑up of new equipment or line modifications.
• Support fellow technicians and share knowledge within the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with industrial machinery maintenance.
• Ability to work efficiently under shift schedules.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
