Materials Engineer – Dam & Hydropower Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Materials Engineer to support dam and hydropower infrastructure projects, overseeing material testing, quality assurance and construction phases. The role will involve both laboratory and field work, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct lab and field testing of concrete, aggregates and soils.
• Perform material analysis and testing during construction of dam and hydro projects.
• Develop and implement quality assurance and control plans.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for material procurement.
• Ensure material standards meet national and international codes and dam safety protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Materials Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or equivalent PE license.
• 5–8 years of experience on dam or hydropower infrastructure projects.
• Hands‑on experience during construction phases of dam/hydro projects.
• Exposure to project management activities.
