Learning and Development Officer

About the role

The Learning and Development Officer will design and deliver learning interventions that meet the specific needs of employees within the assigned unit. This role supports employee growth and enhances the unit’s performance by aligning learning solutions with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify learning and capability requirements in line with organizational goals and workforce needs.
• Conduct learning needs analysis following Global L&D guidelines and share insights with Regional L&D.
• Prepare and recommend annual learning plans, calendars, and budgets for the unit.
• Customize learning plans and interventions using Global and Regional curricula.
• Partner with HR Business Partners to ensure business‑driven learning solutions.
• Design learning interventions that comply with global L&D policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with Global L&D and key stakeholders to deliver learning programs.
• Set delivery standards and support certification of Learning Services partners.
• Create an inclusive, engaging learning environment that reflects company values.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business or a related field.
• At least three (3) years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or HR with strong learning exposure.
• Experience in curriculum development, learning needs analysis, program design, training delivery and evaluation.
• Strong project management, coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed, fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with shared services or external learning partners is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup in Ortigas, Pasig.
