Java Developer – Hybrid Cloud & AI

About the role

IBM Consulting is looking for a Java Developer to help clients accelerate their hybrid‑cloud and AI journeys. You will work on cutting‑edge projects, delivering high‑performing, reliable applications that support the most innovative companies worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and technical leaders to analyse solution feasibility and ensure compliance with architectural standards.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle – design, code, test, release, and troubleshoot – to provide excellent customer service.
• Engage with stakeholders to identify opportunities, drive strategic discussions, and create creative coding solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Solid experience in application development using Java Web (J2EE) and REST Web Services.
• Experience with Vue.js and SQL (DB2) databases.
• Willingness to work client‑based schedules (day, mid, or night shift) at IBM locations in Quezon City or Cebu.
