IT Support Engineer

About the role

Tarro is seeking an IT Support Engineer to deliver on‑site and remote technical assistance to end‑users. You will help keep the company’s hardware, software, and network environments running smoothly, ensuring restaurants can focus on serving customers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, printers and scanners.
• Install and configure hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Research, diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues.
• Provide timely phone, email and chat support for service requests.
• Troubleshoot production applications and general network problems.
• Create and follow up on support tickets, escalating critical issues as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and external IT vendors to resolve complex problems.
• Standardize and document support procedures, streamline onboarding/off‑boarding.

Required profile

• Strong technical aptitude with experience supporting end‑users.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills for phone, email and chat interactions.
• Detail‑oriented and able to follow documented processes.
