About the role

We are looking for a Control and Protection Systems Engineer to design, calculate and document technical solutions for electrical substation control, protection and communication systems. The position is based in Zaragoza and offers a permanent contract with flexible working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Design and perform calculations for control and protection schemes of electrical substations.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation and project specifications.
• Develop and configure protection settings for substation equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of communication systems.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar role.
• Proactive attitude with ability to take on increasing responsibilities.

Required skills

• Experience with electrical network modeling and simulation tools such as DigSilent, Cape, ETAP, PSCAD, PSS‑E.
• Knowledge of protection design for substation equipment.
