Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing, operating, and supporting core infrastructure services across on‑premise and hybrid environments. You will work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure high‑availability, scalability, and reliability of Linux‑based systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own and support critical infrastructure in production, high‑availability environments.
• Lead troubleshooting and incident response during outages and service disruptions.
• Communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders during operational events.
• Drive automation and process improvements using Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Bash, and Python.
• Develop and maintain internal tools that increase operational efficiency.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation for procedures, configurations, and environments.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• 3+ years supporting production infrastructure in high‑availability settings.
• 3+ years Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu or similar).
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, load balancing, reverse proxies, SDN).
• 3+ years experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• 3+ years experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
• Hands‑on scripting/automation experience using Bash or Python.
• Bonus: experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS services, and relevant certifications (RHCE, CKA, AWS).
