Health and Safety Officer cum Corporate Nurse

About the role

The Health and Safety Officer cum Corporate Nurse supports C&W Philippines by leading health and safety initiatives and delivering on‑site medical services to employees. Reporting to the Country OIC and seconded to the Head of EHS, Asia, the role blends occupational safety management with clinical nursing care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct workplace safety audits, risk assessments and ensure compliance with Department of Labor and Employment regulations.
• Develop and implement health‑wellness programs, emergency response plans and occupational safety training.
• Serve as secretariat for the safety committee and prepare required safety reports.
• Perform health assessments, screenings, first aid, and emergency care for employees.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist the corporate physician with fit‑to‑work certifications.
• Manage chronic disease programs, promote healthy lifestyles and provide basic mental‑health counselling.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a Health and Safety Officer with nursing experience, preferably in occupational health.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Philippine PRC.
• Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training Certified (Safety Officer III).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking abilities.
