Validating Physician (Lab Data Validation)

About the role

The Validating Physician ensures the accuracy and timely release of laboratory results by reviewing, proofreading, and validating pre‑encoded medical data. This position works closely with encoding staff and the laboratory team to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with encoding staff to guarantee accurate and prompt processing of pre‑encoded laboratory data.
• Liaise with the laboratory team to validate test results before final approval.
• Review, proofread, and validate medical results, ensuring they meet company and regulatory standards.
• Support on‑site medical services to improve turnaround time and operational efficiency.
• Participate in Health Systems Key Element Surveys and quality‑assurance activities.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations such as DOH and DOLE.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Registered Physician with a valid PRC license.
• Newly board‑passed physicians are welcome.
• Computer literate and able to work with digital laboratory systems.
• Punctual, team‑oriented, and capable of making sound decisions.
