Head of Finance – Philippines

About the role

The Head of Finance for the Philippines will lead all finance services for Northern Trust’s legal entities in Manila. Reporting to the APAC CFO in Singapore and indirectly to the Philippines Country Head, this role is a key member of both the APAC Finance Leadership Team and the Manila Executive Management Team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial control, regulatory reporting, statutory accounting, business and management reporting, and taxation for Philippine entities.
• Drive capital and liquidity management and ensure the integrity of financial information.
• Lead the Manila Finance function, setting priorities to meet corporate objectives and providing timely briefings to management and governance bodies.
• Participate in strategic planning, budgeting processes, and deliver financial insights to support business decisions.
• Manage a local finance team and provide oversight for outsourced financial processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance leadership, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong people‑management capabilities with a track record of developing talent.
• Ability to work collaboratively with line‑of‑business heads and functional leads.
