Head Nurse (RN) – 3 Years Experience

About the role

The Head Nurse will lead the clinical team to ensure high‑quality resident care, coordinate with other departments, and uphold nursing standards across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise the clinical team to promote quality resident care.
• Assist the Clinical Care Manager in preparing monthly staff schedules.
• Coordinate clinical activities with other departments to ensure optimal personnel, equipment, and facilities.
• Observe and evaluate nursing activities and staff performance against standards.
• Develop and recommend policies for improving resident care and personnel management.
• Conduct training for new hires and ongoing compliance sessions for the clinical staff.
• Perform comprehensive care assessments, manage chronic illnesses, and create structured nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to resolve resident needs.
• Oversee daily resident routines and ensure proper medication administration.
• Take charge of daily operations in the absence of the Clinical Care Manager.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with at least 3 years of clinical experience.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to evaluate performance and implement improvement strategies.
• Commitment to continuous education and professional development.
