Financial Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller will lead the company’s financial operations in the Philippines, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with local regulations. This senior position supports strategic decision‑making through financial analysis, budgeting, and cash‑flow management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets and supervise journal entries, reconciliations and closing processes.
• Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting and variance analysis to provide insights for strategic planning.
• Develop and maintain internal control systems, identify financial risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine tax regulations and filings with BIR, SEC and other agencies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing findings promptly.
• Monitor cash flow, manage treasury activities, banking relationships and working‑capital optimization.
• Drive process improvements, digitalisation and automation of finance operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of finance/accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards and tax regulations.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in financial reporting tools.
• Understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
• Familiarity with Philippine tax regulations.
