Finance & Tax Administrator (Hybrid)

About the role

Join ConnectOS as a Finance & Tax Administrator, providing analytical support for Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) and Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with the Tax Manager and broader finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Tax Manager with FBT calculations, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Review entertainment expenses for correct FBT and GST treatment and ensure documentation meets ATO requirements.
• Support BAS preparation, GST coding reviews, and risk identification.
• Prepare Fuel Tax Credit (FTC) claims, including data gathering and rate application.
• Gather and organize FBT documentation, follow up on missing information, and maintain records.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce errors in indirect tax compliance.
• Help respond to ATO queries, audits, and reviews related to FBT, GST, and FTC.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis, accounting, and administrative support as needed.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in tax, accounting, or finance.
• Exposure to FBT, GST, or other indirect taxes.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience handling large data sets.
