DevOps Engineer – Remote (Cebu, Philippines)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our fully remote team. The ideal candidate will be based in Cebu, Philippines, and will own the automation, reliability, and scalability of our production services on AWS and hybrid‑cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and monitor highly complex applications on our cloud platform.
• Implement and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage multi‑tier architecture including CDN, reverse proxy, application servers, and databases.
• Collaborate with developers to automate testing, release, and deployment pipelines.
• Improve reliability and performance of build and test processes.
• Create and maintain automated release channels and tooling.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with CI/CD workflow design and scripting (Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, Go, PowerShell, etc.).
• Expert‑level Linux system administration.
• Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes clusters at scale.
• Proven ability to manage hybrid‑cloud infrastructure (AWS and on‑prem).
• Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.
