DevOps Engineer

About the role

Systems Exchange Inc. (SXI) is seeking a motivated DevOps Automation Engineer to design, build, and enhance its cloud and on‑premise infrastructure. The role focuses on automation, reliability, and scalability while maintaining strict security and compliance standards for banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and lead cloud and on‑prem DevOps infrastructure across multiple environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain complex CI/CD pipelines for numerous applications.
• Automate provisioning of networking, load balancing, scaling, and disaster recovery using Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, OpenShift, CCE) including Helm charts and container registries.
• Implement observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Datadog and define SLOs/SLAs.
• Integrate security tools such as Vault, OPA, and Snyk into pipelines.
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis, and mentor the DevOps team.
• Collaborate with project leads on release planning and new initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Systems Engineering, preferably in the financial sector.
• Proven expertise with AWS, Azure and/or Huawei Cloud (CCE).
• Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform, Ansible (or Puppet/Chef), Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Proficiency in Python, Go or similar languages and solid Linux administration.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
