DevOps Engineer 2 – Manila

About the role

Join Asurion’s dynamic team as a DevOps Engineer 2 in Manila. In this full‑time position you’ll drive automation, optimisation and seamless software delivery for our industry‑leading products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Terraform, Ansible and Docker.
• Monitor and analyse system metrics to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in incident response and issue resolution to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Research and implement new technologies and best practices to enhance DevOps capabilities.
• Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of continuous learning.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go or Bash.
• Strong understanding of containerisation and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana and Elasticsearch.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
