About the role
The Business Development Specialist supports growth initiatives by turning complex data into actionable insights. You will work closely with the BD and marketing teams to create high‑quality materials that drive client acquisition and revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare financial, market and client analyses to inform strategic planning and client targeting.
- Research industries, clients and market trends, synthesising findings into clear insights.
- Monitor competitor activity and produce competitive‑intelligence reports.
- Support the development and execution of pitches, RFPs and credentials, drafting content and coordinating internal inputs.
- Maintain and improve BD templates, reports and marketing collateral.
- Assist with budgeting, business planning and performance tracking.
- Manage CRM data to ensure accuracy and effective reporting.
- Collaborate with marketing and BD colleagues on integrated campaigns and client development.
- Identify process‑improvement opportunities across BD systems and workflows.
- Support ad‑hoc BD and marketing initiatives as needed.
Required profile
- Certificate, diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in business development, marketing, research or financial analysis.
- Proven experience supporting pitches, RFPs or client‑facing materials.
- Experience working with CRM systems and data‑analysis tools.
- Experience in professional services or a law firm is a plus, but not required.
