Business Development Manager – APAC (Remote)

About the role

PeopleCert, a global leader in professional skills assessment and certification, is seeking a Business Development Manager for the APAC region. Working remotely, you will drive market expansion, build strategic relationships, and increase sales of PRINCE2 and other portfolio products across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all commercial activities in APAC to grow market presence and share.
• Identify and engage corporates, government bodies, training organisations, universities and professional bodies.
• Collaborate with regional partners to promote PRINCE2 and related certifications.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and key accounts.
• Execute a target‑driven B2B sales strategy and monitor performance against goals.
• Coordinate with global product, marketing and support teams while adapting to regional nuances.
• Represent PeopleCert at regional events, forums and exhibitions.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in IT, preferably an MBA.
• 5–8 years of business development experience in APAC markets.
• Proven track record in multi‑country sales and channel development.
• Experience in education, consulting, or certification sectors is a plus.
• Advanced English proficiency (C2 level) and strong stakeholder management skills.
• Preference for candidates from IT consulting or technology backgrounds.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar CRM platform.
