About the role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer specialized in JSON Schema to design and implement robust data models for our systems. This remote, hourly contract role focuses on translating complex documents into structured, validated schemas.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze complex documents and identify structured data points.
• Design and implement JSON schemas with appropriate field types and nesting.
• Define validation rules, constraints, and logical relationships within schemas.
• Develop API contracts to ensure seamless data integration across systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine data requirements and schema design.
• Document schema structures, field definitions, and usage guidelines.
• Promote best practices in data modeling, architecture, and scalability.

Required profile

• Strong experience in data modeling, schema design, and JSON schema development.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed environment.
