Associate ReactJS Software Engineer

About the role

Finastra is looking for an Associate ReactJS Software Engineer to join its Malauzai product team in Austin, Texas. The role is ideal for an early‑career developer who wants to work on a fast‑growing mobile banking application within an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining ReactJS components for a mobile‑first web application.
• Implement and execute unit and UI tests for new features.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and senior engineers to resolve bugs and deliver enhancements.
• Contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement of development processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience developing web‑based user interfaces.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a Scrum/Agile team.

Required skills

• JavaScript and TypeScript.
• ReactJS, with familiarity of Redux, React Router or React Navigation.
• Understanding of browser APIs and web performance best practices.
• Experience with unit and UI testing frameworks.
