API Developer – Java & AWS Integration Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an API Developer with deep expertise in Java, API development, and cloud integration to design and implement strategic API solutions that connect our ERP system with multiple third‑party applications. The role is hands‑on and collaborative, working closely with project managers, ERP support, operations and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable integration solutions linking ERP systems with third‑party applications.
• Evaluate and recommend enterprise application development and integration technologies.
• Translate ERP connection requirements into reusable, technical API solutions.
• Define, execute and manage functional, regression and load testing, including test scripts.
• Manage the API lifecycle, release processes and documentation in coordination with architects and platform administrators.
• Act as technical owner of the Group API platform, shaping and leading its implementation roadmap.
• Collaborate with product owners to align the product roadmap with business priorities.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on architecture, best practices and code quality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Java, JavaScript and database development (MS SQL / MySQL).
• Extensive experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, IAM and CloudWatch.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Web Services (SOAP, REST, JAX‑WS, JAX‑RS, Web API) and modern authentication methods (TLS, JWT, SSO, SAML, JOSE).
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented, service‑oriented and aspect‑oriented design patterns.
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical architects, participate in solution reviews and drive high‑quality software delivery.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
