Android Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Android Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications. The role works closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless, scalable user experiences. This position is fully remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Identify and fix bugs and bottlenecks.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Proficiency with Jetpack components such as ViewModel, LiveData, and Navigation.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Experience using Git and version-control workflows.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices.
• Ability to write unit and integration tests.
