Accountant – Remote Finance & Accounting Consulting

About the role

Attivo Partners is seeking a proactive Accountant to join its remote finance team. You will support venture‑backed startups by handling core accounting functions and ensuring their financial reporting scales with rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger entries.
• Assist with the monthly close process by posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and delivering ad‑hoc financial analysis.
• Maintain regular communication with client teams to provide high‑quality service and accurate deliverables.
• Contribute to special projects and ad‑hoc assignments as needed.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of GAAP principles.
• Experience with cloud‑based accounting and finance software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Bill.com, Gusto, Expensify, Carta).
• Highly detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning and ability to adapt in a fast‑moving startup environment.
