ABAP Developer – SAP BTP & S/4HANA Cloud

About the role

Join a high‑performing SAP delivery team focused on cloud‑native innovation. As an ABAP Developer you will design, build and optimise backend extensions for S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform, supporting modern Fiori applications and core business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise ABAP applications using ABAP Cloud, CDS Views, RAP and S/4HANA Public Cloud extensibility.
• Build and extend business objects with RAP (behaviour definitions, services, entities).
• Create integrations with S/4HANA via OData services, APIs, events and BTP services.
• Ensure clean core compliance using in‑app and side‑by‑side extensibility.
• Analyse and debug performance issues with ADT, performance traces, SQL monitor, etc.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, Fiori/CAP developers and integration teams to translate requirements into scalable designs.
• Support unit testing, code reviews, documentation and coding standards.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting and continuous improvement recommendations.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of ABAP development experience (cloud or on‑premise).
• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience with ABAP Cloud, RAP or S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
