Workday Adaptive Planning Architect

About the role

Kognitiv Inc. is looking for a seasoned Workday Adaptive Planning Architect to lead complex implementations and high‑stakes initiatives. You will own end‑to‑end delivery of medium‑to‑large projects, mentor junior consultants, and ensure seamless data integration across the Workday ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design and configure multi‑dimensional models, sheets, and dashboards for global business needs.
• Align Adaptive Planning with Workday HCM and Financial Management to maintain data integrity.
• Own the full project lifecycle—from scoping and discovery to Go‑Live—for acquisitions and other major initiatives.
• Architect integrations between Workday and external data sources using advanced ETL techniques.
• Mentor less‑experienced consultants and contribute to internal knowledge bases.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage multiple high‑complexity projects autonomously.
• Strong communication skills with a willingness to coach junior team members.
• Owner‑mindset and a passion for solving architectural challenges.

Required skills

• Extensive hands‑on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning configuration (sheet modeling, structure modeling, OfficeConnect reports).
• Workday report writing to retrieve ledger, dimension, and financial data.
• Integration architecture experience, including “Power of One” integrations between Workday HCM, Financials, and external sources.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• ETL methodology expertise.
